Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 1 January 2026 · FIVE CYBER HOST SECURITY SRL · AS210718

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the services provided by FIVE CYBER HOST SECURITY SRL ("Company", "we", "us") operating under Autonomous System AS210718. By using our services you agree to comply with this AUP in full.

1. Permitted Use

You may use the Company's DDoS protection, network security, and infrastructure services solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with your service agreement. Permitted uses include legitimate business traffic, authorised security testing on your own infrastructure, and network monitoring of your own assets.

2. Prohibited Activities

You must not use our services to:

  • Launch, facilitate, or participate in Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks, volumetric floods, or any form of network abuse against third parties.
  • Generate, transmit, or amplify malicious traffic including botnets, spoofed packets, or traffic that exploits amplification vulnerabilities (UDP amplification, ICMP floods, DNS reflection, etc.).
  • Conduct port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or probing of networks or systems without explicit written authorisation from the owner.
  • Circumvent security measures, firewalls, XDP/eBPF filters, or traffic scrubbing systems of any kind.
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, or any other malicious software.
  • Engage in phishing, fraud, spam, or any deceptive activity.
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
  • Misrepresent your identity, spoof IP addresses, or impersonate any person or organisation.
  • Interfere with the operation of our network, infrastructure, or services, including other customers' traffic.
  • Resell or sub-licence our services without prior written permission.

3. Network Abuse and Traffic Standards

All traffic routed through or protected by our AS210718 infrastructure must comply with best-practice standards including BCP38 source address validation. We reserve the right to apply real-time XDP/eBPF traffic filters, rate limiting, and automatic mitigation rules to any traffic we deem to be abusive or in violation of this AUP.

4. Security Research

Legitimate security research conducted in a responsible and ethical manner is supported, provided it targets only infrastructure you own or control, or for which you hold explicit written authorisation. Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure (CVD) requests can be sent to noc@five-host.com.

5. Reporting Abuse

If you observe or suspect abuse originating from our network, please contact our Network Operations Centre (NOC) immediately:

  • Email: noc@five-host.com
  • Subject line: [ABUSE] <brief description>

We aim to investigate and respond to all abuse reports within 24 hours.

6. Consequences of Violation

Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your services without notice, nullification of any service-level agreements, and referral to appropriate law enforcement authorities. We reserve the right to seek injunctive relief or damages for material violations.

7. Modifications

We may update this AUP at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP. Material changes will be communicated via email or panel notification.
